Powerlifting

Powerlifting is a strength sport which concentrates on three movements usually called The big three: the squat, the bench press and the deadlift. These three movements together targets almost the entire body.
In competition everyone gets three tries in each movement and the one of the biggest total of all three lifts is the winner of the competition.There are different classes where you compete age, gender and weight class.


World Records

-Squat record holder Jonas Rantanen = 575 kg

-Deadlift record holder Benedikt Magnusson  = 461 kg

-Shirtless bench press record holder Eric Spoto = 322.5 kg
